Release of the Report The Fisheries Resource Conservation Council released, on June 20, 2005, its Strategic Conservation Framework for Atlantic Snow Crab to the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans. The Framework, which was commissioned by the Minister, is aimed at providing recommendations to the Department and the industry on measures to enhance the long-term conservation of the resource and sustainability of the snow crab fishery Atlantic-wide.
