The Fisheries Resource Conservation Council (FRCC) will publish its report "2002/2003 Conservation Requirements for Groundfish Stocks in the Gulf of St. Lawrence" on Wednesday, April 17, 2002.
This report will contain FRCC advice to the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans regarding the 2002/2003 fishing season for groundfish stocks in the Gulf of St. Lawrence which begins May 15, 2002.
The Chairman of the FRCC, Mr. Fred Woodman will hold a press conference at 10:00 am on April 17 at the Best Western Crystal Palace Hotel, Champlain Room in Dieppe, New Brunswick.
